The convent of Ayios Panteleimon is located on the slope of Kriatis mountain between the villages of Agrokipia and Mistero and dominates the view of the entire valley of Morphou.
The convent was highly developed in the period between 1859 and 1860. During the EOKA struggle for freedom the convent was used by greekcypriot fighters.
In 1974 the convent helped relieve the refugees that fled from the north because of the turkish invation and expansion work also took place.
Its annual celebration is on July 27.

Facilities: Parking is available. The monastery is accessible for people in wheelchairs but not the church. There are restrooms but no for people in wheelchairs. There is a shop where visitors can buy various souvenirs such as books, images, traditional products sweets. Transactions in cash only.
