Distinction of the Higher Hotel Institute Cyprus in the Competition Concours Olivier Roellinger 2017
The Higher Hotel Institute Cyprus (HHIC) participated for the first time in the competition ‘Concours Olivier Roellinger,’ which aims to promote the use of sustainable fish from aquacultures in cooking, in an effort to contribute to the preservation of endangered marine species, for the promotion of sustainable development.
The Institute was represented by the second-year Culinary Arts student Panagiotis Mitrokli, who after having distinguished himself in the two phases of the competition, won the very honourable first place in the category ‘Southern Europe’. The award ceremony was held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on 8 June 2017.
