A Cyprus Elementary Education history museum founded by the Pancyprian Teachers Organisation in cooperation with the Vasa Koilaniou community. The museum is housed at the neo-classic building of the village school.
Following the latest modern concepts the museum offers a contemporary look at the evolution of elementary education through many decades, and reflects the faces of political developments in the island.
The museum was inaugurated on September 25 2010.
Of particular interest are exhibits referring to the cyprus elementary education during the turkish and british occupation of Cyprus, as seen both in Vasa itself, as well as in other parts of the island through documents provided by the Archbishopric.
