A fairy-tale Christmas atmosphere at Cyprus’ airports
Larnaka airport has been turned into a fairy-tale Christmas town open to the public with stories from the most beloved Christmas fairy-tales, decorations, charity Christmas markets and beautiful Christmas melodies by live bands in the Check-In and duty-free shopping areas.
The Christmas events officially launched at Larnaka airport with the illumination of the Christmas decorations on 4 December 2018. Throughout the month, trips to the Larnaka district’s primary schools have been planned, where entertainers will read beloved Christmas tales to the children, do crafts and enjoy Christmas music for children.
Also, Christmas bazaars will be set up in the Check-In and duty-free shopping areas of Larnaka airport on 12 and 19 December 2018, and of Pafos Airport on 21 December, the proceeds of which will be given to the NGOs Alkyonides and Sophia Foundation (12 December, and on 19 and 21 December respectively).
