The National Guard Reserve Commandos Museum was inaugurated by Archbishop Chrisostomos B’ on July 20 2010. The museum is housed at a nio-classical 1936 building, on the corner of Nikoklis street and Panagias Phaneromenis street, within the walls Nicosia.
The exhibit space is divaded into the indoor area (which features four unities), the area around it and the open out door space.
In the first section on the museum general weaponry is on display, while in the second section articles relating to the history of the Commandos. The third section presents contemporary training material. Commandos who died for the country or are still missing are featured in the four section.
Visits by the public on week days Monday – Fridays between 09:00 – 13:00.

Facilities: Parking in the municipal parking Faneromenis or parking Faneromenis church almost opposite the museum. The museum is not accessible for people in wheelchairs. There are restrooms. In the space of the museum operates restaurants and cafe. It also operates a shop where visitors have the opportunity to buy various souvenirs.
