Situated in a central location of the village near the main church of Holy Cross, the Folkloric Museum provides a fascinating insight into the social and economic development of the community.
Inaugurating the Museum in 2005 jointly with the Greek Minister of Cultural Development Mr. Demetris Avramopoulos, the Commerce, Industry and Tourism Minister of Cyprus, Mr. George Lilikkas, described it as being consistent with the cultural objectives of the Strategic Tourist Development plan.
In addition to the traditional arts and crafts, the Museum features the interior of a Cypriot house with all its furniture, utensils and other household items, including local costumes and ornaments.
Αt the entrance of the Museum you will find the bust of the grantor the late Vassos Hadjioannou.
