At over 60 metres tall the modern 10-storey MAS museum is hard to miss when visiting Antwerp’s port. With a facade of hand-cut indian red sandstone from Agra and curved glass panels, the building was designed by Neutelings Riedijk Architects and opened on May 17, 2011.
It houses more than 470,000 historic objects which aim to provide visitors with a sense of the city’s history.
The artwork is on display from the third floor to the eighth, while the ninth features a restaurant and event space with a stunning view.
