A novel by five writers named ALEX ZENON
What would you do if your savings were stolen overnight?
Zenon’s novel spins off the side streets of Saint Lazarus Square, Larnaca, with a satirical crime story based on the Haircut that shook the island in 2013.
Disaster strikes a holiday island with savings accounts looted overnight. Johnny Greco loses his money, his dreams, but worst of all, his family.
When a high-profile banker is kidnapped – a severed finger the only evidence found at the scene – conspiracy theories are rife. The Russians, Chinese, and an unlikely gang, all want payback.
Spurred by a million euro reward, Johnny starts asking his own questions, hoping to recoup his money and win back his wife. With the help of his cabbie side-kick, he soon realises this is far more than a simple kidnap-ransom case.
